Kapalua Resort will be hosting the 28th annual Kapalua Wine and Food Festival June 11-14.

The official event schedule includes a variety of delightful gatherings, from wine and cheese tasting sessions to sumptuous seafood dinners and the aptly-named Grand Tasting.

From the official announcement:

“Festival Host, Master Sommelier Fred Dame brings together world-renowned winemakers, top Master Sommeliers, celebrated chefs and industry insiders for a long-weekend of daily culinary exhibitions, interactive wine tastings and evening gala events.”

We can’t wait for The Grand Tasting on Friday, June 12 - here’s just a snippet from the night’s menu:

• Baked Gulf Crab and Cheese Grits, Crackling Bread
• Vine-Ripened Tomato and Corn Bread Salad, Green Onion Dressing
• Bread Pudding, Apples, Walnuts, Praline Anglaise
